Ah....summer. It has been so hot here! It is hard to believe it is just mid-June, and it is so unbearably hot already. This weekend it is supposed to be 101........way too hot for me!
The great thing about hot weather is that water cools you off so quickly. Jamie finally talked me into buying a slip and slide for Marissa while her cousin Zachary is visiting. Everything inside of me screamed "NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" since Riss has had 5 broken bones in her short life and somehow throwing yourself onto a slippery surface on the hard ground just didn't make good sense to me in light of that, but I caved. Looks like one reason he wanted her to have one so bad is so he could play too!

Looks like a good way to cool off. Men and their "toys". They never grow up. Seems like everyone is having fun, I will be watching for a post about Marissa and her fragile bones. Say a prayer they have strengthened and she will not get hurt. We did this for the girls 16th birthday party with a HUGE piece of plastic and about 20 kids - they had a BLAST. We also rented an inflatable slide that was about 25 feet high - they all had so much fun, I wonder why I doubted it being a good idea.
Guess my invite to that got lost in the mail.... LOL!
Anyway, have you seen the Smirnoff Ice commercial where the grown ups go play on a huge piece of plastic in the sprinkler? That looks like so much fun!
bwwhahahah this is GREAT! However, Jamie's so long and lanky I'd think his fingertips would be at one end and his tippy toes at the other!
Long and lanky? have you seen the tool shed he has built lately?
Oh I am so beind on this from the RA!!! But they did have fun. Little as well as big
