After much soul searching I have decided to sort of re-invent my blog. It began as a blog solely about scrapbooking, but evolved over time into much more. I thought about just deleting this blog and starting a new one, but decided I like some of my older posts too much to do that. I thought of keeping it private, but almost no one reads my blog now so that seems pointless. I have decided to do the following:
- I will keep this existing blog
- I will make it public once again
- I will enable comment moderation
- I will not allow anonymous comments
- I will make an earnest effort to regain blog interest from my readers
- I will make every effort to post more often, and to make the posts interesting and relevant to what is happening in my life
I am making an earnest effort to allow only people who have positive influence over my life to speak into my life and not allow any negativity. It's time to wake up people, and realize that when God's Word in Proverbs 18:21 tells us that "life and death is in the power of our tongue" He ain't just whistling dixie. The tongue is a very powerful thing, and Paul tells us in James that is the one thing that cannot be tamed.
I may not be able to tame my tongue, as I am human, but I try to speak life over everyone I know and not speak harmful or hurtful things. If I have ever done so to any of you I sincerely apologize for that. I am human...I make mistakes, but I am trying to live a life pleasing to God and in doing so I must surround myself with positive people who speak life over me and I will make every effort to do the same for them, thereby avoiding drama and chaos and negativity in general. This applies to my life in all areas...both physically and in cyberspace.
Thanks to those of you who have continued to read, even through my dry spell, and I promise you I will do better. I am learning.....seeking....and trying.....

Aw shucks... that was real purty. I'm glad you made this decision because your blog is one of my favorites. Go get 'em Tiger! ;)
Michelle, I'm sorry that someone was hurtful to you - I didn't realize. I wanted to tell you that I certainly understand. In fact, I had a woman steal a whole bunch of my content, and then slander me all over the internet when I wrote to her, asking that she take the plagiarized posts down. It does hurt when people are so rude, but like you, I try to remember that I have a purpose for writing, and I'm not going to allow the nasty people to ruin it for me!
I'm glad you aren't giving up, and I'm looking forward to reading your posts!
I am soooo glad you are still here...I have been slacking with my blog and I am also trying to post and comment more::)) I am also glad you are back public and hate that people are so crazy to hurt you in such a nasty way:)
Big Hugs!!
Hey sweetie, I am so sorry that the person that did all the bad things to you made you feel the way you did. But I am glad you have decided the right thing to do for you. Sorry I don't follow any blogs like I should, nor do I post on mine as I should. But I think that if you feel you are doing the right thing, then it must be the right thing for you to do!! I am always behind in all that you do and this is the way family and friends should be.
Go on with your bad self girl! That's the Michelle I know and love. ;) I'm diggin' the new look and title of the blog, not to mention the updates, copyright thingy and all that. Very classy operation you've got goin' on here.
I am proud of you sis, keep up the good work and I am sorry your were hurt by that one person, who shall remain nameless as she is of no importance. I am sorry you got hurt, but you are the bigger person in the whole mess and I am glad you are back blogging!!!
