Spring has Sprung

This morning I had a lovely surprise waiting for me! As Marissa and I loaded up to go to Church this morning, we found that several of our amaryllis had burst into full bloom. What a glorious sight! Although they bloom each spring, they never fail to amaze me with their grandeur! My grandmother planted these long ago, and each spring when they bloom I always think of her. She loved her flowers!

Hey Sis, these remind me so much of Ma-mom and her love of the flowers and her yard. It makes me sad, but also happy to see them. I miss her so much and think of her all the time. She must be smiling down now at those beautiful flowers. Lucky you to have them to look at and have such fond memories. I really miss her..........

I miss her too, my dear sister. Very much. She left a lot of love for us and we are reminded of her grace, beauty and charm in every blooming flower in every season of the the year. Although it doesn't lessen how much we miss her, I like to think of how many flowers she is seeing now! Every year, every day, every kind of blossom we could imagine is there for her to enjoy...with no yard work! And we will see her again. That's a promise we can hold onto!
